The forward worked efficiently through thirty minutes, adding six rebounds and four assists while turning the ball over just once, and his perimeter touch—2 of 2 from three—gave St.-Truidense a spacing weapon that the defence had to respect. Mousseau's game was built on clean basketball. Three steals showed his activity on the other end; he fouled only three times across the full half-hour. Phantoms Basket Boom started strong, leading 12 points midway through the first quarter before St.-Truidense clawed back into it. At half-time the score stood 23–34, still in Boom's favour. The third quarter became St.-Truidense's turning point. They outscored Phantoms Basket Boom 29–19 in the period to seize a 52–53 lead — their first of the match — going into the fourth. Phantoms Basket Boom mounted a mid-quarter push, reeling off a 10-0 run to edge ahead 55–52, but St.-Truidense had the final answer. They built their lead to 13 with just over a minute remaining and held firm down the stretch. Noa Lacrosse was nearly perfect for St.-Truidense, hitting 18 points on 7/9 shooting with a clean 3/3 from three. Shawn Mousseau added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists; Ilias Temsamani chipped in 14 and 5 boards.
