Malik Thomas gave Partena Professional Okapi Aalst everything they needed in 21 minutes: 22 points on efficient free-throw shooting (9/9), three assists, two steals, and the kind of composed presence that turns a cup tie into a foregone conclusion. He shot 5/15 overall and made 3/9 threes, but it was the stripe where he did his damage, converting every attempt he earned. Partena Professional Okapi Aalst dismantled Phantoms Basket Boom 101–72 in the Beker van België round of 16, a 29-point rout that left no doubt about who belonged in the next stage. Thomas's efficiency from the line — matching his total attempts with perfect makes — underlined a performance that never needed to force; the game had been decided long before the final buzzer. The Aalst side's campaign in Belgium's national cup reaches its conclusion with this convincing away win. They move forward with a statement result.
