Phantoms Basket Boom beat RBC Belgrade 79–74 behind Leroy Anthonis's 21
Phantoms Basket Boom held on at Braxhall to beat RBC Belgrade 79–74 in a second-half collapse that nearly cost them a sixth straight win. Early in the fourth quarter, Boom led by 16 at 66–50; by the final two minutes, it was one possession either way. The hosts set the tone early, building a 7-point halftime lead (41–34) behind a balanced first half where Leroy Anthonis and Mitchel Gorremans steadied the offense. Boom stretched it to 14 by the end of three quarters (64–50), but RBC Belgrade had other ideas. A 13–0 run mid-second quarter had briefly flipped momentum, and the visitors produced a late surge, outscoring Boom 24–15 in the fourth to force a genuinely tight finish. Three lead changes and two ties across the night meant neither side ever pulled free until the final buzzer. Anthonis led Boom with 21 points on 9/14 shooting and four assists. Gorremans added 17 points on 4/7 from the field with a perfect 9/11 at the line. Florentin Hucorne paced Belgrade with 19 points on 6/12 shooting, while Lucas Démoulin contributed 15 and grabbed seven rebounds. The win moves Phantoms Basket Boom to 6–1 in Group A; Belgrade slip to 5–2 after their five-game streak ends. Boom travel to face CEP Fleurus on Saturday.
