Robin Malpas made the most of his 28 minutes, posting 17 points on near-perfect shooting as RBC Pepinster East Belgium escaped Basket Sijsele with a 76–69 road win in Group B play. The forward's efficiency was the difference: 6 of 7 from the floor, including 1 of 1 from three, and 4 of 5 at the line. He did not record an assist or steal, and turned the ball over once, but his scoring punch was enough to carry the visitors past a Sijsele side that stayed within arm's reach through the final buzzer. A seven-point margin is workable but not comfortable in the Top Division. RBC Pepinster East Belgium will need that same shooting touch when the Group B schedule continues.
