TJ Shorts II finished with 26 points on 11-of-20 shooting in just 24 minutes as Power Electronics Valencia edged Besiktas Jk Istanbul 96–94 on the road. The guard's efficiency—55 per cent from the field, 67 per cent from three—was the difference in a two-point margin that came down to execution in the final stretch. Shorts II added two assists and a steal, though turnovers (2) and fouls (3) marked the only blemishes on a controlled performance. He did not crash the glass, finishing with a single rebound, but his scoring volume and accuracy in limited minutes gave Valencia the offensive spark it needed in a tight contest. The result moves Valencia past Istanbul in what amounted to a half-court grind. Shorts II's 24-minute cameo was enough to swing the game.
