Basket Waregem never trailed, built a 9-point lead by the end of the first quarter, and methodically kept Avanti Brugge 2015 at arm's length for a 92–72 win. Waregem led 19–10 after one, extended it to 43–36 at half-time, then pulled away in the second half—up 67–56 entering the fourth—before closing out with a 25–16 final quarter that sent them to 3–2 in the season. The decisive blow came mid-fourth: a 13-0 run that took the score from 62–56 to 74–56 gave Waregem the breathing room they needed. By the final minute, they had opened a 22-point gap at 92–70, a lead they held to the buzzer. Avanti fought in patches—outscoring Waregem 26–24 in the second quarter—but never came close enough to threaten the result. Mathieu Coucke led Waregem with 17 points on 5/8 from the floor and 3/6 from three, adding 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Maarten Vandenbossche struck at 6/8 shooting for 14 points, and Augustine Ikolo added 12 on an efficient 5/6 from the field. For Avanti, Sam Lambrecht scored 15 points on 5/11 shooting, but Cedric Dedecker struggled from deep, going 0/7 on threes in a 9-point outing. Waregem visit AB0 LDP Donza on Saturday. Avanti host Basket Willebroek the same day.
