Arno Mollekens turned in a near-perfect evening for Basket Willebroek, posting 25 points, 10 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block across just 18 minutes in the 1/16 Finals of the Beker van België. He shot 11 of 13 from the field — a clinical 85 percent — and added 3 of 4 free throws, working with minimal turnoil (1 turnover, 0 fouls) in what became a dominant home display. Willebroek's 107–81 victory over United Basket Woluwe left little room for doubt. A 26-point margin in a knockout tie is as conclusive as domestic cup basketball gets, and Mollekens efficiency from the floor — particularly his work in the paint — was the spine of the win. He made his possessions count in a way that set the tone early and never allowed Woluwe a foothold. With that result, Basket Willebroek's cup run comes to an end. A strong individual showing from Mollekens on the night, but the deeper prize slipped away.
