Mathis Bizimana has been unstoppable for CB Liège in recent weeks—29 points and 5 assists per game, a 129.5 TIB Efficiency rating that sits well clear of the competition. Eric Boone will have his hands full keeping him honest, though the Brussels Basketball guard has been steady in his own right: 17 points, 4 assists, 77 TIB Efficiency. The gap between those two numbers tells the story of where each team stands at tip-off. Bizimana is playing at a different level right now. Boone will need to pick his spots, lean on help defense, and find his own rhythm in transition if Brussels is to keep pace. Liège's recent form has been sharp. Boone and Brussels have room to make a statement tonight if the supporting cast steps up and the pace favors their game. Watch how the perimeter matchup shapes the rest of the floor—that's where this one gets decided. Tip-off in three hours.
