Gembo Borgerhout beat St.-Truidense 63–58 behind Wannes Tomlow's 19
Gembo Borgerhout's unbeaten streak survives a late scare at Sint-Truiden. St.-Truidense clawed back from a five-point deficit after three quarters but could not find the final bucket; the sides traded points evenly through the fourth before Gembo held on, 63–58, to improve to 7–0 in Group A. The first half belonged to neither team cleanly. Gembo Borgerhout took Q1 by three (17–14) but St.-Truidense answered hard in the second, outscoring them 15–8 to lead 29–25 at the break. The momentum swung decisively in Q3: Gembo ripped off a 24–15 quarter, peaking with an eight-point lead at 46–38 late in the frame, leaving St.-Truidense trailing 49–44 heading into the fourth. St.-Truidense matched Gembo Borgerhout score-for-score down the stretch—both teams managed 14 points in the final quarter—but could not bridge the gap. The game stayed one possession inside the final two minutes, yet the hosts never drew level. Wannes Tomlow led Gembo with 19 PTS on 5/10 shooting, 11 REB and 5 AST, while Quinten Smout added 19 PTS (5/12 FG, 5/12 from three, 4/4 FT) and Len Bastiaenssen posted 14 PTS, 10 REB (double-double). For St.-Truidense, Abel Baptista and Yannick Ravert each scored 10 PTS; Ravert grabbed 12 boards (double-double) but shot just 2/5 from the floor. The loss marks St.-Truidense's fifth straight defeat, dropping them to 2–5. Gembo Borgerhout host St-Niklase Condors on Saturday; St.-Truidense welcome Amon Jeugd Gentson on Sunday.
