Terry Roberts steered Caledonia Gladiators to a 78–73 victory over Liverpool Basketball with 16 points from an efficient 6/12 shooting in just 20 minutes at home. The Gladiators guard made his minutes count: 2/5 from three, perfect from the free-throw line, and four assists to orchestrate the offence. His ball security could have been sharper—four turnovers in that brief spell—but the rest of the work was precise enough to earn the nod as our efficiency-rated player of the match. Caledonia's five-point margin came down to the margins Roberts and his teammates kept intact. Next up for the Gladiators is another Super League fixture; Liverpool will look to bounce back from this narrow defeat.
