Final recap

ZZ Leiden rout CityX Mons by 20 behind Anias Futrell's 32

ZZ Leiden turned a level game into a 20-point rout in the fourth quarter, leaving CityX Mons still searching for a first win of the season. The sides were locked at 47–47 at half-time after CityX Mons won the second quarter to erase ZZ Leiden's six-point opening-quarter lead. Mons then stole the third, outscoring Leiden 22–21 to go up 69–68 heading into the final frame — their biggest advantage came at 61–53 midway through that quarter. But ZZ Leiden dismantled that cushion in brutal fashion: a 13-0 run in the middle of the fourth took the score from 79–86 to 79–99 with seconds left. CityX Mons managed only 10 points in the quarter while Leiden poured in 31. Anias Futrell led the charge with 32 points on 11/21 shooting, adding 8 rebounds and 3 steals — a commanding display that anchored Leiden's late dominance. Jonathan Beagle provided instant scoring off the bench (14 PTS, 5/7 FG), while Nik Graves chipped in 19 points and 5 assists. For Mons, Kylian Mpete's 22 points (7/17 FG, 3/6 three) and Feie Tallir's 14 (4/8 from three) kept them in the fight until the wheels came off. CityX Mons fall to 0–6 in the regular season, now winless through six games. ZZ Leiden climb to 3–3, snapping a two-game slide. Mons host House of Talents Spurs Kortrijk on Friday; Leiden welcome Coretec Oostende on Saturday.
