Merkviladze's recent form gives Donar the edge in the matchup against Leiden tonight. The Georgian forward has been operating at another level lately — 17.4 points per game on a 45.2 TIB Efficiency rating. That's the kind of scoring punch that tilts a game sideways. Touko Tainamo carries Leiden's load at 10.5 points per night, with a 35 rating, and the Finnish wing will need to be sharp defensively to disrupt Merkviladze's rhythm. Donar's offensive ceiling rises significantly when their best scorer is moving like this. For Leiden to stay competitive, Tainamo's efficiency in both directions — not just volume — will matter. The gap between their current-form ratings is meaningful, and it figures heavily in how this one plays out. Tipoff is in roughly three hours. Catch ZZ Leiden vs Donar Groningen live.
