TJ Shorts II finished with 23 points on 7-of-13 shooting and a perfect 9-of-10 from the free-throw line to lead Valencia Basket past Fenerbahce Tarfin Istanbul 86–78 at home. The guard's efficiency in a 23-minute outing — he added 3 assists and 2 rebounds while limiting turnovers to just 2 — proved decisive in a game where every possession carried weight down the stretch. Valencia's eight-point margin of victory hinged partly on their ability to close quarters without relying on perimeter shooting; Shorts II went 0-of-1 from three but compensated with decisive work in the paint and from the line. His free-throw accuracy was especially critical — nine made attempts from ten shot reflected the composure required to separate the two teams late. Fenerbahce stayed within arm's reach throughout, but Valencia's depth and Shorts II's steady hand in the final quarter made the difference in a contest that never quite opened up into a rout. For Shorts II, a night of selective shot-taking and veteran execution against a seasoned EuroLeague opponent.
