Milan De Clercq rains 7 threes on CEP Fleurus
Milan De Clercq's 20-minute masterclass carried Gent-Oost Eagles past CEP Fleurus 105–89 at Eagles HQ, a 16-point home win in Group A that belonged almost entirely to the Gent guard's efficiency from deep. De Clercq finished with 25 points on 8-of-14 shooting overall, but the real statement was his 7-of-10 performance from three-point range. He added 5 rebounds and a steal, moved the ball without turning it over, and needed only 4 fouls across his limited floor time. The shooting split—70 per cent from the field, 70 per cent from range—left little room for CEP's comeback hopes, which never seriously materialized once Gent's lead widened in the second half. For CEP Fleurus, the gap proved too wide to close. Gent's next assignment will test whether that kind of three-point volume can hold up in tougher matchups.
