Oxaco BBC beat Royal Waterloo Basket 90–72
Royal Waterloo Basket led by 7 early, held the edge at halftime, and still trailed by just one after three quarters. Then Oxaco BBC turned the fourth into a rout. A 14-0 run in the middle of the final quarter—with the score moving from 73-66 to 87-66—broke the game open completely. Royal Waterloo managed only 9 points in that quarter while Oxaco BBC poured in 26. The 18-point margin at full time (90-72) understates how decisively the home side controlled the closing minutes. Thomas Creppy kept Royal Waterloo competitive throughout, finishing with 22 points on 8-14 shooting and 9 rebounds, and Simon Bizimana grabbed a double-double with 13 points and 10 boards. But Maxime Vlaeminck's 4-15 shooting night and a bench that couldn't sustain offensive pressure meant Royal Waterloo lacked the depth to match Oxaco BBC's surge. Cédric Vandecasteele led Oxaco BBC with 18 points on 6-10 shooting and 5-6 from three, adding 7 assists and 3 steals. Mats Van Loock went 3-3 from distance to finish 16 points and 3 steals; Alexy Cools chipped in 13 and 7 rebounds on efficient 5-8 shooting. Oxaco BBC host BC Guco Lier B on Saturday 3 October. Royal Waterloo Basket travel to Royal Castors Braine the same day.
