Darko Agyapong steadied our GB U16s when it mattered most. In the final five minutes, with Great Britain already six points clear, he struck 6 points on three straight two-point makes, keeping Sweden at arm's length as the lead stretched beyond recovery. Perfect from the field in that window, he finished his closing contribution without a turnover or foul. The 104–89 victory secured seventh place in Division B — a solid finishing position for the squad at the FIBA U16 EuroBasket in Gevgelija. Agyapong's composure when Sweden had one last chance to cut the deficit underlined why youth development at this level matters: showing up when fatigue sets in and the pressure tightens. Great Britain's campaign in this competition is now complete.
