Boyd Van Der Vuurst has hit 43.1 on the TIB Efficiency scale this season, running the Landstede Hammers Zwolle offence at 5.8 assists per game while chipping in 12.8 points. Across the way, Jamarii D'Aje Johnson-Thomas sits at 36.8 for House of Talents Spurs Kortrijk — a tier below Van Der Vuurst's current output, but still the Spurs' primary engine at 14.8 PPG and 4 assists. The asymmetry is worth noting: Johnson-Thomas scores more, but Van Der Vuurst's all-around play — his ability to thread the offence and generate looks — gives Zwolle a different kind of control. Both men are carrying heavier usage loads in recent weeks, and both will define how this BNXT League matchup unfolds. Tipoff in about three hours. Watch how Kortrijk's defence shadows Van Der Vuurst and whether Zwolle can weather Johnson-Thomas when he's hunting points early.
