Final recap

Iceland U18 Women rout Great Britain U18 Women by 25 behind Rebekka Steingrimsdottir's 36

Iceland's U18 women never trailed, never flinched, and by the third quarter had already decided the outcome. A 29-point win is not a game — it is a statement. Our GB started sharp enough, trailing only 28–21 after the first quarter. The second was tighter still, Iceland adding just 22 points as we clawed back to 50–45. Then the third quarter arrived. Iceland poured in 29 points to our 10, and the contest was finished. A 12-0 run in the fourth (from 71–55 to 83–55) merely confirmed what everyone already knew. Final score: 102–77. Rebekka Steingrimsdottir carried Iceland on her shoulders — 36 points on efficient shooting (10/20 FG, 5/8 from three, 11/11 from the line), plus 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Sara Logadottir (18 PTS, 4 STL) and Hulda Agnarsdottir (14 PTS, 4 AST) provided reliable support. Bella Rogers anchored our effort with a double-double: 24 points and 13 rebounds on 10/15 shooting, while Isey Guttormsdottir-Frost added 16 points and 12 boards. It was not enough. When a team shoots 50% from the floor and 62% from three, one player's output — however strong — cannot bridge the gap.
