Gent-Oost Eagles beat St-Niklase Condors 93–86
St-Niklase Condors clawed their way back from a 17-point hole but could not complete the job. Gent-Oost Eagles pulled away late to win 93–86 in Group A play, a hard-fought result that came down to possession-level margins in the final stretch. The Condors dominated the opening half, leading 52–41 at the break behind Anton Huyghe's early scoring. A 17-point advantage peaked early in the third quarter at 60–43, but Gent-Oost Eagles answered with a 14-0 run midway through that same period to claw back to 64–61. The momentum swung repeatedly—seven lead changes and three ties across the night kept either side from running away—but the Eagles found their rhythm when it mattered. Jorre De Wilde led the charge with 28 PTS on 9/13 shooting and a perfect 3/3 from three, while Jens Coppens added 15 PTS on efficient 5/8 splits. The Eagles led by as much as 9 inside the final minute and held on for the 93–86 verdict. Huyghe finished with a double-double: 25 PTS and 13 REB on 7/14 twos and 4/7 threes. Senne Geukens contributed 20 PTS and 8 REB, but the Condors managed only 16 points in the fourth quarter as the Eagles tightened their grip. St-Niklase Condors host Hasselt BT on Friday 25 September.
