Final recap

Gembo Borgerhout beat CEP Fleurus 82–70 behind Wannes Tomlow's 28

Gembo Borgerhout held firm in the fourth quarter to beat CEP Fleurus 82–70, a 12-point margin that reflected their control down the stretch. The game itself was tighter than the scoreline suggests — five lead changes and seven ties kept it competitive through the first half, but Gembo's depth and shooting touch proved the difference when it mattered. A 13-0 run midway through the first quarter gave Gembo an early foundation they never fully surrendered. CEP stayed close at the half (42–46), then clawed level after three quarters (60–63), but Gembo outscored them 19–10 in the fourth to seal it. With 31 seconds left, they led by their full 12, and CEP had no answer. Wannes Tomlow was the engine: 28 points on 11/14 shooting and 12 rebounds for a double-double that set the tempo. Quinten Smout added 16 points with four three-pointers, offering the perimeter threat CEP couldn't contain. For CEP, Jeremy Conreur was efficient inside (21 points, 9/11 from the field), but Anthony Lambot's 14 points on 5/14 shooting showed how Gembo's defense tightened when needed. CEP visit Royal IV Brussels on Friday the 18th. Gembo host Hasselt BT the following evening.
