Danny Egbe steered Germany U16 past our young Lions with 16 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals in a dominant 82–60 victory at the FIBA U16 EuroBasket Division A. The margin told the story. Our youngsters were outmatched across the floor, unable to find rhythm on either end as Egbe operated with the kind of composure and efficiency that separated the two sides. His ball-handling and court vision kept the German offense flowing, while his length on the perimeter forced repeated turnovers that fueled the run. It was a blowout that exposed some hard truths about where Belgium U16 sits in this competition. Next up, our young Lions will need to regroup quickly.
