DWAYNE BACON finished with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in 29 minutes as Dubai Basketball edged Real Madrid 78–77 in a single-point decision. The guard's efficiency was the margin: 9 of 13 from the field and 6 of 7 from the free throw line, a 69.2% true shooting rate that sustained his team through a contest decided by possession and execution, not volume. Real Madrid pressed late, but Bacon's composure in the final stretch — converting his looks cleanly, turning the ball over just once — kept Dubai Basketball ahead. He did not need three-pointers or steals to impose himself; straight-line scoring and pitch-and-catch playmaking from the slot proved enough against a Madrid side that could not find the same rhythm. One point separates these teams now, and Bacon's night of efficient, economical scoring was the difference between a home win and a heartbreaker.
