SASHA VEZENKOV finished with 18 points and 8 rebounds in 25 minutes, shooting 8 of 10 from the field, as Olympiacos Piraeus B.C. edged Zalgiris Kaunas 93–91 on the road in a Regular Season showdown that came down to the final margin. Vezenkov's efficiency in the paint — he took no three-pointers and went 2 of 3 at the line — proved decisive in a game where every possession carried weight. The Bulgarian forward's work on the glass and his touch inside gave Olympiacos a steadying presence when Zalgiris pressed hard down the stretch. A two-point win away from home often hinges on limiting mistakes and capitalizing at the rim. Vezenkov did both. He turned the ball over once in a half-hour of work, a discipline that mattered in a contest this tight.
