Dorka Juhasz is running hot for Hungary Women NT. Seventeen points per game on a 63 TIB Efficiency rating in recent weeks — she's the anchor that makes everything else work. But Japan Women NT will have Kokoro Tanaka moving the ball with intent: 16 PPG paired with 3.3 assists per game, a floor general's footprint alongside her scoring load. This is the core matchup. Juhasz operating in the post and on the perimeter against a Japan side built around Tanaka's ability to find cutters and shooters. Hungary's efficiency advantage is real, but Japan's ball movement and shot creation through Tanaka could press the pace and disrupt rhythm. Both teams will need their lead scorer-playmakers to set the tone early. Tip-off is in three hours.
