Malik Thomas versus Stephan Swenson. That's the matchup that matters when Partena Professional Okapi Aalst hosts Coretec Oostende in the BNXT League tonight. Thomas has been the engine for Aalst's offence in recent weeks—22 points per game on a 63.5 TIB Efficiency rating, moving the ball at 3 assists a night. He's the kind of scorer who'll punish you in transition and isn't afraid to hunt his own shot when the defence tightens. Oostende, meanwhile, will lean on Swenson's steady orchestration: 12 points and 6 assists per game (66 TIB EFF), the kind of floor general who makes everyone around him better rather than chasing volume. This isn't just a shootout—it's a test of Aalst's scoring punch against Oostende's control and rhythm. One wants to accelerate play; the other to slow it down and find shooters. Whichever principle wins usually dictates the game. Tip-off is in three hours. Watch it live.
