Denmark's Elisa Gurkan-Douglas enters this Division B fixture running hot: 57.3 TIB Efficiency, 21 points per game over recent outings. That kind of scoring volume will test our GB defence early, and Bella Rogers—our standout at 27.8 TIB Eff and 7.3 PPG—will need support to contain her. Rogers has been steady for us, but Gurkan-Douglas is operating on a different scale right now. The Danish forward's efficiency rating is nearly double our lead scorer's, a gap that doesn't flatten itself in U18 competition. How our GB side responds to that pressure in the opening quarter will shape the entire encounter. Both teams arrive at this U18 EuroBasket Division B meeting seeking to build momentum. Our GB will have the advantage of home fixtures ahead, but first comes the work: matching Gurkan-Douglas's rhythm and finding ways for Rogers to impose herself on both ends. Tip-off in three hours.
