Aliou Diarra finished with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists in 19 minutes as Virtus Bologna's most efficient performer in a heavy 75–93 loss to Dubai Basketball at home. He shot 7 of 10 from the floor and 5 of 6 from the line, adding a steal and a block while committing no turnovers. The deficit told the real story: Dubai's depth and offensive execution overwhelmed Bologna's half-court sets, and even Diarra's clean, mistake-free night could not alter the trajectory. By the time he left the court, the gap was already insurmountable. His efficiency in limited minutes — 70% true shooting, zero giveaways — was a bright spot in an otherwise one-sided affair, though it underscores how little individual brilliance can matter when a team gets outscored by 18 at home.
