Seppe D'Espallier has been running hot for Basket Willebroek in recent weeks — 62.9 TIB Efficiency, 15 points and 3.1 assists per game — and tonight he steps into De Treffer to face Timo Casteele, who anchors Basket Waregem's offense at 38.4 efficiency with 10.7 PPG and 3.8 assists. The gap between their recent form is stark: Willebroek's lead man has been one of the division's most efficient operators, while Casteele continues to shoulder the playmaking load for his side. This matchup tells the larger story of where each team sits. Willebroek's offensive rhythm has sharpened around D'Espallier's decision-making and scoring touch. Waregem will need Casteele to match that pace and find cutters when Willebroek's defense tightens — something he has done consistently, though at a lower volume. The question is whether Waregem can generate enough secondary scoring to ease the burden on their engine. Tip-off in three hours. Catch it live and see which lead guard imposes their rhythm on the Top Division tonight.
