Final recap

Basket Waregem beat BC Asse-Ternat 72–61

Basket Waregem pulled clear in the third quarter and held firm down the stretch to beat BC Asse-Ternat 72–61 in the Beker van België group stage. A tight first half left the teams separated by just two points at the break (33–31), but Waregem's third-quarter surge—outscoring Asse-Ternat 23–14 in that frame—built a seven-point cushion heading into the final period and proved decisive. BC Asse-Ternat managed only 14 points in the fourth quarter and could not find the rhythm to close the gap. Sander Van Ginderachter led the home side with 17 points on 6-of-14 shooting, while Sam Caron chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds off the bench. Sebastian Apers added 10 points and 5 rebounds. For Waregem, Timo Casteele was the leading scorer with 16 points and 4-of-7 three-point shooting. Dylan Delobbe contributed 11 points and 5 rebounds, and Ikolo Augustine grabbed 5 boards to anchor the interior. Waregem's balance and third-quarter execution proved the difference. With the victory, Basket Waregem exits the group stage campaign. BC Asse-Ternat face Union BC Quaregnon on Sunday 30 Augustine as they look to bounce back.
