Jasper Unal steered BBC Falco Gent to a dominant 89–65 home win over Basket Waregem on the strength of 15 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds in 33 minutes. The guard shot efficiently across the board — 5 of 8 from the field, 4 of 7 from three — and kept turnovers to just 2, orchestrating play with the kind of control that let Gent build its 24-point margin without ever looking rushed. A 24-point margin in Top Division Men 1 is not a squeak-by result. Unal's ability to move the ball and hit from distance meant Waregem never found the defensive grip needed to stage a comeback, and his 1 of 2 at the line was the only inefficiency in an otherwise clean outing. Gent plays next in the regular season with momentum in hand; Waregem will be looking to reset after getting outpaced at Sint Janscollege.
