Filip Petrusev made the simplest kind of statement: 20 points on 6-of-6 shooting in 17 minutes. No misses. No three-point attempts, just clean finishes in the paint and at the line (8 of 9). Dubai Basketball's dominance over Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv — a 97–83 win at home — had its anchor in Petrusev's efficiency. The margin held because the offense moved through him without waste. Three rebounds, one assist, one steal across his brief floor time told the story of a player who was there to finish, not to ball-handle or create secondary action. When a big man shoots that cleanly in high volume, depth of involvement becomes secondary. For Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv, keeping Petrusev off the glass (3 boards in 17 minutes) and off the assist sheet mattered less than the fact he did not need to be involved in every possession to swing the game. He was used as a solution, and the solution worked.
