Yannick Desiron has been running through Top Division defences at will. The Kontich Wolves forward is averaging 22.5 points per game in recent weeks with a 68.6 TIB Efficiency rating — a level of scoring volume and consistency that makes him the obvious focal point when Kontich take the floor. Jens Bouckaert will carry the load for Basics Melsele-Beveren on the other end. He is putting up 13.1 points and 1.7 assists per game (49 TIB EFF) and will need to manage Desiron's scoring while keeping his own offence ticking. The gap in recent form is stark: Kontich's lead man is operating in a different stratosphere right now. This is a mismatch on paper, but cup games and single-match contests have a way of levelling things out. Tip-off is in about three hours at Sporthal Sint Rita.
