Mathieu Coucke carried Basket Waregem past United Basket Woluwe with 24 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists in 39 minutes, finishing a 100–88 road win on 6/16 shooting (6/14 from three, 6/8 from the line) with just one turnover and a steal. The performance was steady rather than explosive — he hit his threes when it mattered and stayed clean with the ball — and it proved enough to put the game away by 12 in Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe. Coucke's work at the free-throw line (perfect 6-for-8) underscored a willingness to attack downhill even when his three-point stroke wasn't falling at an elite rate. That balance—capable of both perimeter creation and driving to the rim—kept Woluwe honest and tilted the tempo in Waregem's favour throughout. The road win pushes Basket Waregem forward in Top Division Men 1 regular season play. Woluwe will look to bounce back when the teams meet again.
