Ninane Promotion edge Gembo Borgerhout 75–73 in a nail-biter
Ninane Promotion scraped through to the next round, holding off a furious Gembo Borgerhout rally to win 75–73 in the Beker van België 1/16 Finals. Nine lead changes and seven ties made for a back-and-forth contest decided only in the final two minutes. Gembo Borgerhout set the early pace, leading 24–16 late in the first quarter. Ninane Promotion swung momentum hard through the second, ripping off a 12-0 run midway through to flip the script and lead 43–33 at half-time. That edge grew to 13 points early in the third quarter at 49–36. Gembo Borgerhout clawed back, though — a 24–11 third-quarter surge cut it to a single possession at 57–54 heading into the fourth. The final frame stayed tight throughout, with neither side able to pull clear, and Ninane Promotion held on. Len Bastiaenssen led Gembo Borgerhout with 20 points on solid efficiency (5/13 FG, 10/11 FT) plus 8 rebounds, while Quinten Smout added 18 points on 4/6 three-point shooting. Wannes Tomlow posted a double-double with 12 points and 18 rebounds. For Ninane Promotion, Sacha Di Prospero top-scored with 14 points on 7/11 shooting, and Maxime Bodson hit three from range en route to 12 points off the bench. Both sides' campaigns in the cup now end here.
