Bristol Flyers beat Newcastle Eagles 81–65 behind Kasen Jennings's 19
Bristol Flyers seized control from the opening minute and never relinquished it, dismantling Newcastle Eagles 81-65 in a performance that ended their two-game losing run and snapped the hosts' winning streak. The Flyers' early intensity proved decisive. A 12-0 burst midway through the first quarter set the tone; Newcastle never found an answer. Bristol's 16-point first-quarter advantage (28-12) looked commanding, and when they stretched the lead to 18 points early in the second quarter at 19-37, the contest was effectively settled. Newcastle steadied themselves thereafter—winning the second quarter 27-15 to halve the deficit by half-time at 39-43—but Bristol's control never wavered. The second half saw the teams trade a level third quarter, but the Flyers' cushion remained intact heading into the fourth, where they outscored Newcastle 21-9 to seal a composed, controlled victory. Kasen Jennings orchestrated Bristol's offence with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists on efficient shooting (6/12 FG, 6/9 FT), whilst Michael Diggins Jr. anchored the interior with 15 points and 3 blocks on 5/9 from the field. For Newcastle, Tavis Smith led the scoring with 21 points on 8/20 shooting but couldn't generate enough support; Adam Hamilton muscled in 12 points and 11 rebounds (double-double) to offer resistance. With Bristol now 5-4 after climbing back into contention, they host Surrey 89ers on Sunday 8 November. Newcastle, slipping to 6-4, travel to Cheshire Phoenix on Sunday 15 November.
