BC Guco Lier beat Val-Dieu Spirou Basket 83–71 behind Jaden Ochiagha's 25

BC Guco Lier B held off a second-half rally to edge Val-Dieu Spirou Basket B 83–71, building a 17-point cushion in the third quarter before having to absorb late pressure in a 12-point win. Lier controlled the first half, outscoring Spirou 25–18 in the second quarter to reach 47–37 at the interval. The gap widened early in the third when a 10-0 run pushed the lead to 57–40 with 7:49 remaining in that frame — a commanding position that seemed to have the game in hand. Instead, Spirou flipped the script: they outscored Lier 20–17 over the final 24 minutes of the third quarter and kept chipping away through the fourth, narrowing it to a contest. Lier's 19 fourth-quarter points proved just enough to hold serve. Jaden Ochiagha carried Lier with 25 points on 8-of-18 shooting and 9 rebounds, while Max Bulens added 16 points and 6 assists off the bench. Stephane Umba chipped in 10. For Spirou, Noa Bronne led the way with 21 points on efficient 7-of-11 shooting, and Ilan Mbessang added 17 — both fought hard in the comeback bid, but it ran out of time. Lier heads to BC Sprimont on Friday; Spirou travel to AB InBev Leuven Bears B on Sunday.
