Zlatan Jakara has been the engine for Windrose Giants Antwerp B in recent weeks — 20.3 points and 3.2 assists per game on a 67.2 TIB efficiency rating that sits well clear of his peers. Tonight at Heylen Vastgoed Basketcampus, Matteo Verstraete and Basket SKT Ieper will have the job of containing him. Verstraete has been solid for Ieper, averaging 14.1 points and 2.3 assists in his own recent form, with a 44.9 efficiency. That gap in output and consistency tells the story of the matchup: Antwerp's offence runs through Jakara's scoring and playmaking, while Ieper will need to lean on a broader spread of contributors to stay in the game. Top Division Men 1 fixtures between Belgian sides often turn on the wire — whoever controls pace and limits turnovers usually finds the edge. Watch how Ieper's defence adjusts to Jakara's rhythm early; if they can force him into difficult looks and stay attached to the perimeter, they buy time for their own half-court sets. Tip-off in three hours.
