JJ Harper finished with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists as Heroes Den Bosch held off Kangoeroes Basket Mechelen 95–86 at home. The Heroes Den Bosch guard was efficient throughout, shooting 9 of 13 from the floor and 5 for 5 at the line in 33 minutes, while also adding 4 blocks — a rare secondary skill that underscored his all-around impact on both ends. He turned the ball over three times but never let the clutter define the night; his shooting touch, especially a 2-for-5 effort from three, kept the pace in his team's favour when Mechelen pressed. The margin was never dramatic, but steady. Heroes Den Bosch built their nine-point lead through the kind of measured, mistake-light basketball that wins regular-season games: Harper's efficiency was the engine, and his ability to move the ball kept the offence flowing even when shots weren't falling at volume. Mechelen never went away — a nine-point gap is always live — but Harper's presence, both as a scorer and a facilitator, meant Heroes Den Bosch never had to dig out of a hole. Next up, Heroes Den Bosch travel to face their next opponent while Mechelen look to bounce back.
