TJ Shorts II is running at 61 TIB Efficiency in recent weeks, averaging 26 points per game as Power Electronics Valencia's primary offensive engine. A.J. Lawson has matched his assist total but sits at 50 TIB Efficiency and 20 PPG for Baskonia — a clear gap, yet one that narrows when the teams collide and half-court sets tighten the spaces both men operate in. Shorts scoring volume and efficiency give Valencia the edge on paper. Lawson's role shifts in these matchups; he thrives in transition and off-ball movement, less dependent on creation. The question isn't whether Shorts dominates the scoring chart — it's whether Baskonia can engineer enough tempo and spacing to let Lawson operate efficiently enough to keep the game within reach. Valencia and Baskonia tip off Shorts. Watch how these two trackers of the ball shape the rhythm.
