Malcolm Makwa Gambundji steered Val-Dieu Spirou Basket B to a 12-point road win over AB InBev Leuven Bears B with a composed 15 points and five assists across 26 minutes. The score: 61–49. Gambundji's accuracy from distance — 3-of-6 from three — kept the pace ticking over in a Group B encounter that never threatened to tighten once Val-Dieu Spirou Basket B found their rhythm. He added four made free throws and a steal, turnovers and fouls kept minimal (2 each), to anchor a performance that had all the hallmarks of controlled, efficient guard play rather than loose brilliance. On a shooting night where he went 4-of-10 overall, the three-point line became his most reliable weapon. AB InBev Leuven Bears B stayed competitive defensively but could not manufacture the offensive spurt needed to close a persistent gap. The 12-point margin is where the home side's season stands in Top Division Men 2 — work ahead as Group B resumes.
