Royal IV Brussels rout St.-Truidense by 20 behind Sabri Riahi's 23
Royal IV Brussels overpowered St.-Truidense from the third quarter onward, coasting to a 20-point win in Group A play. The hosts trailed by just five at the break (40–45), but Brussels' defense tightened in the second half, outscoring St.-Truidense 45–30 across the final two periods to seize control. The decisive damage came in the fourth quarter. A midway 11-0 run — from 60–72 to 60–83 — buried any chance of a St.-Truidense comeback. Brussels' lead swelled to 23 points with 2:41 remaining, and the result was never in doubt thereafter. Sabri Riahi led the visitors with 23 points on efficient 8-for-13 shooting, including 3-for-4 from three. Noé Botuli added 20 on 8-for-15 overall, while Christopher De Medina contributed 15 points and 7 rebounds with a team-high 4 assists. For St.-Truidense, Ilias Temsamani managed 14 points and Yannick Ravert 13, but neither could carry their side against Brussels' balanced attack. St.-Truidense travel to RBC Belgrade on Saturday; Royal IV Brussels host Phantoms Basket Boom on Sunday.
