Wannes Tomlow carried Gembo Borgerhout home with 19 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds in 40 minutes—shooting 6 of 8 from the field and 7 of 8 from the line—as the hosts beat Royal Nivelles Basketball 83–71 in Group A of Top Division Men 2. Tomlow's efficiency on a small volume was the difference. He turned the ball over just twice and moved the ball into open spaces consistently; his assist-to-turnover ratio and near-perfect free-throw shooting (87.5%) gave Gembo control when Royal Nivelles tried to claw back. The 12-point margin held firm because Tomlow didn't force things when Nivelles pressed—the kind of steady, low-ego performance that doesn't always fill a box score but settles a game. Royal Nivelles stayed competitive in stretches but never found the rhythm to make this close. Gembo's home advantage and Tomlow's restraint proved too much. Next up, Gembo face their next Group A fixture; Nivelles will look to regroup.
