KBGO Finexa Basket@Sea beat KBBC Oostkamp 91–73
KBGO Finexa Basket@Sea took control in the third quarter and coasted to an 18-point win over KBBC Oostkamp in Group Stage action. Tied at 20–20 after one, Oostkamp edged ahead 41–37 by half-time, but the second half belonged entirely to the hosts. A devastating 33–12 third quarter — built on defensive intensity and efficient floor play — pushed the lead to 70–53 heading into the final frame, and Basket@Sea never looked back. Joran Vercruysse kept Oostkamp competitive with 21 points on 7/12 shooting, supported by Quentin Serron's double-double effort of 15 points and 7 rebounds. But the home side had too much firepower. Siel Dedoelder led Basket@Sea with 17 points across 16 attempts, while Nattan Heirman added 15 on efficient 5/8 work. Stef Gyssels finished with a 14-point, 11-rebound double-double on a near-flawless 5/6 from the floor. The gap between the teams widened decisively from the second half onward. Basket@Sea's interior presence — Gyssels in particular — made spacing difficult for Oostkamp's perimeter shooters, and the home transition game was sharp once the lead ballooned. Basket@Sea travel to Andenne next on Sunday. Oostkamp host BC Guco Lier on Saturday.
