Sam Hofman carried Val-Dieu Spirou Basket past Rotterdam City Basketball in a three-point finish, dropping 20 points on 7-of-14 shooting with six rebounds and a team-leading 6-for-12 from three. The Liège side won 77–74 at home, surviving a second half in which the visitors clawed their way back into contention. Hofman's perimeter touch — he connected on half his three-point attempts — proved decisive when Rotterdam City pressed late. He also held the ball cleanly, committing only two turnovers across 33 minutes, a modest total for a player who carried the load. It was a compact, efficient performance in a narrow win. Val-Dieu Spirou will need that kind of shooting consistency as the season progresses.
