The veteran's efficiency — 57% overall, 100% from the free-throw line — set the tone early and sustained it when Türkiye mounted resistance in the middle quarters. Meesseman's willingness to attack both in transition and in the post kept our Cats ahead by double figures for most of the second half, and her interior presence (2 blocks) made the difference in a game where Belgium's length eventually proved too much to handle.
