Final recap

Bavi Vilvoorde beat Neufchâteau 79–63 behind Jilan Lamrini's 16

Bavi Vilvoorde snapped a four-game losing run with a controlled 79–63 win over Neufchâteau, moving to 2–4 in the regular season. The margin told the story: Vilvoorde built an eight-point lead by the end of the third quarter and never looked back, extending it to 16 late in the fourth as Neufchâteau ran out of answers. The early going was closer than the final score suggested. Neufchâteau led by six midway through the first quarter, but Vilvoorde clawed back to take the opening frame 16–14. A decisive 10–0 run in the second quarter—sparked mid-period—shifted momentum decisively. By half-time, Vilvoorde led 41–36, a cushion they would not surrender. The third quarter saw more of the same: Vilvoorde won it 20–17 to reach 61–53, then closed out with an 18–10 fourth to seal it. Jilan Lamrini led Vilvoorde's balanced attack with 16 points on excellent shooting (3/6 twos, 3/5 threes, 7/7 free throws). Victor Ofili added 16 points and 12 rebounds—a double-double—along with 5 steals and 5 assists, anchoring the defensive effort. Victor Cuyvers chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. For Neufchâteau, now 1–6, Samuel Schadeck scored 19 points and Hugo Deneve contributed 15 with 5 assists, but neither had the supporting cast to mount a serious second-half rally. Vilvoorde hosts Windrose Giants Antwerp B on Sunday 8 November.
