Andrej Cuyvers is running a different pace than his opponent tonight. The BC Guco Lier guard sits at 83 TIB EFF in recent form, averaging 25.9 points and 4.2 assists — numbers that put him firmly ahead of Joren Vermoesen, who clocks in at 47.2 EFF with 14 PPG and 2.7 APG for BBC Falco Gent. That gap isn't small, and it will likely dictate how this one unfolds. Gent will need Vermoesen to impose himself early if they're to keep pace. Lier's offensive firepower has been hard to contain, and Cuyvers in particular has been the engine driving their attack. The question isn't whether he can score — he clearly can — but whether Gent can make him work for every point and limit his playmaking. Tip-off from Sint Janscollege in Sint-Amandsberg is set for just after 20:00. Top Division Men 1 basketball.
