Rostock Seawolves edge Riga Zelli 87–86 in a nail-biter
Tony Perkins carried Riga Zelli's offence with 35 points on efficient shooting — 12/18 from the field, 4/7 from three, and a perfect 7/7 from the line — but it was not enough to overcome Rostock Seawolves in a one-point loss. Playing 30 minutes, Perkins added 6 steals, 3 rebounds and 2 assists, though 3 turnovers and 4 fouls limited his overall impact in a tight contest that ended 87–86. Riga Zelli's offence ran through their guard in an away game where individual brilliance could not compensate for the collective shortfall. Perkins scoring volume and accuracy — especially his 66 per cent three-point rate — kept the visitors within reach until the final possession. Rostock's defence bent but did not break, and the Seawolves' one-point margin in the end proved the difference. A dominant individual showing against a resolute opponent: Perkins did what he could in defeat.
